Our own Bee Heaven Farm Redland-raised Fagioli del Papa (Christmas Lima beans).

Decided to cook up some of my latest harvest. Simply cooked with a Redland-raised bay leaf, a pinch of salt and garlic to use as a base for a few dishes. What shall I make with it?

The first dish - for lunch: I toasted a frozen cilantro/chili naan, spread a layer of the beans on top, topped it with a slice of Provolone, sprinkled a bit of Hatch chili, toasted it again, and YUM!
now... still got a lot left...what next?
Thinking for quick dinner after a long grueling hot day: a beans and rice dish. Cheating with a Seeds of Change package of quick Basmati rice, with a bit of olive oil, a squeeze of sour orange, garlic, vidalia onion, mixed herbs, topped with feta cheese, Florida Keys Sea Salt, and local bkack pepper, with a side of salad made Redland-raised aquaponic lettuce!.
